Columbia River Salmon Fishing

August is here and so are the Columbia River Fall Chinook and Silver Salmon!

Category: Blog

Hey there to all our fishing Fanatics,

August is here and so are the Columbia River Fall Chinook and Silver Salmon. Doug & Ryan will be setting up shop down at Astoria, Oregon as usual and guiding Salmon trips from August 15th through September 10th. For those that fished with us last season you know the King fishing was outstanding with lots of larger sized fish. Predictions for this season are calling for an even LARGER return of Kings!

Another good note is that the old Red Lion hotel near the marina where everyone always liked to stay has re-opened as the Astoria Riverwalk Inn 503-325-2013. riverwalkastoria.com.

THIS IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY VACATION TRIP!!!! This famous Buoy 10 fishery has always been such a hit because of the notoriously large Kings in combination with Silvers all wrapped up with great weather and beautiful surroundings. This has always been my favorite fishery just because I love visiting the OR/WA coast and the atmosphere is to die for. The local food, scenery and fishing is hard to beat and without all the expense and travel to visit Canada/Alaska. The sleepy little town of Astoria is always fun for the family to visit and the ocean beaches are a must to visit and fly a kite or just look for sea shells!

Give us a shout if you are interested in learning more about fishing with Hells Canyon Sport Fishing at Astoria Oregon. We can help you set up a great trip and catch the big one too!
