The weather is finally getting colder and with the cold the Clearwater is getting low and clear which makes for tougher fishing. Doug has had some very good days on the Clearwater recently, but we fished the Clearwater yesterday and only had 4 to the boat and we work very hard for those fish. I am off until this weekend and then I will be back up Hells Canyon where the fishing has been much better for me. The last couple trips have been producing an average of 15 fish per day. Some days 20 and then some days as low as a dozen fish to the boat. Not bad fishing, and this cold weather will actually help the Snake get even better because the main snake is still over 50 degrees. When it drops into the mid 40 the fish really pile up in certain spots!!! Check out the pic of the nice ram, these are rutting very hard right now in Hells Canyon and just getting to see this kind of wildlife on a daily basis makes it all worth it to me!

Thanks and Fish On!!!
